Dear Friends,
I was first introduced to the work of Legacy International when I was invited for a musical evening at the Global Youth Village back in 1999. The next summer, I applied for a job and became a cabin counselor and assistant workshop instructor. Since that time, Legacy's activities have greatly expanded, and I have been involved with the organization as Global Music workshop instructor, performer, volunteer in various roles, and since 2008 a member of the Board of Directors.
Legacy's work bridges cultures and continents, united by a sincere commitment to increase peace and tolerance in the world. From teaching conflict resolution skills to teens in Kyrgyzstan, hosting young professionals and legislators from the MENA region on Capitol Hill, to bringing together young leaders from across the globe to envision the world they intend to create, what sets this organization apart is their ability to support individuals as they consider their own values and envision a better future.
